Inequality in Chile

Economic and social inequality in Chile is a problem that has been dragg on for many years, one of its main causes being the economic crisis of 1973 and the modification of the countrys economic model by the military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet. This modification brought changes such as: reduction of taxes and inequality in what each company must pay to the state (there are hundreds of cases where multimillion dollar companies must pay a tax much lower than what a small company must pay), close of national industries and the admission of oligopolies, which consists of a form of market where the market is dominated by large companies and few, giving room for price collusion. A example direct of this for a student and future pharmacist is that 90% of the pharmaceutical market is dominated by 3 large chains: Farmacias Ahumadas, Farmacias Cruz Verde and Salcobrand, which have coluded with their high prices on multiple occasions. My Future Job

 The truth is that I still have not decided that I want to work in the future, what I know is that I want to work on something related to chemistry for a time and then dedicate something else. I'm still in my second year of Chemistry and Pharmacy and I have a lot to study, know and learn, both academically and personally. If I have to say something today, I would say that I want to work in a pharmacy to have contact with people and to help and inform about the correct use of medicines and the risk of self-medication. On the other hand, I would like to work in a antidoping analysis laboratory since I really like sport in general and in some distant way I would be connected to it. I know that our faculty has a anti-doping laboratory in its facilities, so, most probable, it will work for a few years in that place. I have not yet define what I want to do in my life and I am still looking for the job that makes me happy, but for the moment, these are the main and most feasible options. ...

 "Arctic Monkeys" is a rock band formed in Sheffield, England in 2001. The group is made up of Alex Turner,leader, singer, and guitarist, Matt Helders, drummer, Jamie Cook, guitarist, and Nick O'Malley, bassist. Arctic Monkeys are one of the most influential bands today. Quellón / Chiloé

 My best vacations, until now, are when I went to Quellón in February 2019 with my family. We stay for a week at a aunt's house and it was a nice experience. During these vacations, I could to visit beautiful places such as Castro, Dalcahue, Chonchi, Ancud and the entire city of Quellón, in addition to knowing the great and characteristic architecture of the Chiloe archipelago, highlighting its old churches dating from the century XVII, which, in its vast majority are made of wood, being even more impressive that they last for so long, even some of these are considered a World Heritage Site. (I am not a religious person, but it is a incredible fact). Another characteristic structure of this place are the "palafitos" that are constructions on wooden pillars in the water.
